Biochemist from Cologne University reinforces Phytowelt’s Research Team

Starting his new job at Phytowelt GreenTechnologies GmbH, private lecturer Dr. Joachim Uhrig has enhanced the companies’ research department as a specialist in biochemistry and protein interaction networks*.

Dr. Uhrig, previously a research group leader at the botanical institute of the university of Cologne, will take on the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A special thematic focus of his work will be on the improvement of biochemical methods and technology development in the field of bioactive peptides. In addition, he will be in charge of the coordination of complex industrial and publicly funded projects, e.g. SynRG.
