Modern biotechnology with it's improved methods enables us to use traditional and modern methods of plant breeding in a sophisticated way beyond the limitations of the past. To analyse the yield potential of specific plant species and varieties we study morphological traits using light and electron microscopy and apply spectrophotometry and chromatographic methods to characterize metabolic constituents. Our current key technologies to improve our client's plant material are somatic hybridization and genetic engineering.
