We are pleased to announce the appointment of our Managing Director Peter Welters as the new Chairman of the Biotechnology Technical Committee as part of the German Biotechnology Industry Association (DIB). The DIB is an important part of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), which with its 10 member associations represents about 90 percent of the German market for biotechnological products. The DIB’s objective is to create reliable and internationally competitive framework conditions for the biotechnology industry and to promote sustainable growth. As a member of the board, Peter Welters will play a decisive role in shaping the future of the biotechnology industry in Germany. With his many years of experience and expertise, he will thus play an important part in promoting the interests of DIB members and advancing the industry as a whole.
